Ace had blood work-up yesterday and white and red blood cells improved. The Neulasta shot helped and every count that is important was okay. He had a good nights sleep and is feeling okay this morning. We are going to try to attend my 60th Class Reunion this evening. We are just going to have dinner at the Country Club and leave before the festivities begin. The Country Club is 10 minutes from here.
Just got home from reunion. Ace got very tired so had to come home before it was over. He did okay, but just gets really tired and wanted to come home to lay down.
Today, Ace started losing his hair. It was a bit traumatic when he took a shower and had to clean the drain filled with hair. He looks a bit pale today and seems very tired, but is functioning better than we expected. He dropped his favorite cup that Brian A bought for him and it shattered on the ceramic floor. He was extremely agitated over breaking it. I think the chemo had something to do with the agitation. Chemo, not only drains one's energy, it plays with emotions.
